COVID-19 Antibody Testing Kit
Numi Scan now offers accurate testing for Covid-19 antibodies, the test is carried out by a fully trained phlebotomist at Herts & Essex hospital (appointment only) then posted to our partner lab for analysis. The specificity is 100% & sensitivity 97.5% for the detection of Covid-19 antibodies. The Abbott IgG assay antibody test is one of only two tests validated by Public health England.
The Quality Care Commission (CQC) has given Numi Scan permission to supply these tests under it's registered services. Important: Our Coronavirus Covid-19 Antibody Testing Kits are tested at an accredited lab. All of our testing kits are CE-marked.
The COVID-19 Antibody test requires a venous blood sample to be collected and posted (free) to our accredited UK laboratory for testing. The testing package consists of the following:
- Sample tube
- Clear instructions
- Request order form
- Cleansing wipes
- A postage-paid envelope to return your sample to our lab
What symptoms do you get with COVID-19?
Some of the symptoms experienced whilst infected with COVID-19:
>Cough
>Fever
>Fatigue
>Shortness of breath (SOB)

>Loss of smell
Some people infected with COVID-19 are asymptomatic (showing no symptoms), however they can still infect other people.
When is the best time to test
Samples for antibodies should be taken at least 14 days beyond onset of initial symptoms
